Frequently asked questions
How do I verify a record?
Every record is hashed and anchored on Polygon mainnet. Use Verify a record in the app (no account required) to scan a record's QR code, or look the transaction up directly on polygonscan.com.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
chainStone subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Manage, change, or cancel your plan from your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
Can I export my compliance reports?
Yes. The app generates NPDES Discharge Monitoring Reports, cooling-tower (ASHRAE 188) management records, and industrial stormwater annual reports from your anchored data, each with on-chain verification links.
I forgot my password.
Use Forgot password on the sign-in screen to receive a reset link.
Is my data secure?
Record contents are stored in your account; only a cryptographic hash is written to the public blockchain. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Can chainStone handle organic certification records?
Yes. chainStone supports USDA National Organic Program (NOP) certification as a dedicated registry. You can record an operation's certifier, NOP ID, USDA organic certificate number, certificate and expiry dates, and certified products, then anchor the hashed certificate document on Polygon — giving certifiers, handlers, retailers, and consumers a permanent, independently verifiable record. The app alerts you 90 days before a certificate expires.
Does chainStone support precision agriculture carbon credits?
Yes. Precision Agriculture is a carbon credit project type covering soil carbon sequestration from regenerative practices such as no-till, cover crops, and rotational grazing. You capture the farm identifier, enrolled acreage, practice type, baseline and measured carbon stock, and a measurement protocol (Verra VM0042, Gold Standard, CAR Soil Enrichment, or ACR Soil Carbon), then attach a soil sampling report. Credits are issued only after a verifier approves the submission, so ESG buyers can trust them.
Can farmers use chainStone for crop insurance documentation?
Yes. chainStone records USDA RMA crop insurance documentation — FSA farm number, RMA policy number, crop, coverage type (APH, RP, RPHPE, YP, MP, ARC, PLC), acreage, and planting date — and lets you document loss events (drought, flood, hail, freeze, disease, pest, fire) with a loss date and estimated loss percentage. Because the planting record is anchored before any claim is filed, it creates a fraud-resistant, timestamped evidence trail.
Does chainStone support ISO 14001 compliance?
Yes. chainStone generates a tailored ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System report section, alongside ISO 50001 (energy management), ISO 14064 (GHG quantification), the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard, TCFD, the EU CSRD, and SEC climate disclosure rules. Each report maps the framework's required disclosures to your anchored on-chain records, so the underlying evidence is independently verifiable on Polygonscan.
